Describe your attachment to Technology and Social Media. Would you be able to go back to a time without technology?

In today’s world, people are very attached to technology and social media. Writing a blog using a platform like this to spread some awareness, is also a form of attachment.

Some of us are fortunate to be in a time with technology. While others, maybe not so much. Think about it, those who live in a third world country with minimal technological facilities, the chances of them having an attachment towards technology or social media is highly impossible as they have no access and are behind time with the modern world. Well, they are the minority.

Majority of us today, we are dependent on technology. Social media networking has become a significant contributing factor to many businesses and people. Companies use it as a source of communication to collaborate on projects, promote brands, advertise online and many other reasons as it has an extensive value. But let’s all be honest, most of us use it for entertainment like games, VR experiences, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)

Technology and social media has negative and positive aspects to it. For an example, blogging has become self-centered and it is being misused. Overtime some of us have become addicted. Some can’t live without our devices such as mobile phones, tablets and computers. But there are also benefits and it has become an essential part in many people’s lives (e.g. Google). It has increased productivity for many users as it’s convenient.

Now, would you be able to go back to a time without technology? As for me, I wouldn’t mind having a glimpse of that experience but on a daily basis maybe not. How are you as an individual going to use technology in the most productive way possible and make a positive difference?
